Vectis and Arçelik enter Opus Patent Pool License Agreement
LONDON and ISTANBUL / September 15, 2026 – Vectis IP Ltd. (“Vectis”) and Arçelik A.Ş.(“Arçelik”) today announced that Arçelik has become a Licensee of the Opus Patent Pool. Through this agreement, the parties have reached a comprehensive resolution regarding OPUS licensing and will move forward under a mutually agreed framework.
Arçelik, a leading manufacturer of Smart TVs, joins licensees from across a broad range of industries that rely on Opus technology to deliver high-performance audio in their products. With its three Licensors – Dolby, Fraunhofer and NTT – the Opus Patent Pool provides access to a substantial share of the patents essential to the Opus audio codec standard.
